This Privacy Policy explains how Ride the Rim E-bikes, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://ridetherimebikes.com (the "Site") or book an e-bike rental with us. By using the Site or making a reservation, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you book a rental or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing details, the rider information needed for the reservation (including, for minor riders, information provided by the booking adult or guardian), and the contents of your messages to us.
Booking and rental records. Reservation dates, items rented, pickup and return details, deposit and payment status, and signed rental agreements or waivers associated with your booking.
Payment information. Card payments and security-deposit holds are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems; we receive limited transaction details, such as confirmation and the last digits of a card, from the processor.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we or our service providers may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed through cookies and similar technologies. This static Site currently uses only essential cookies needed for core functionality unless analytics or marketing tools are added later.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to take and manage reservations; process payments and deposit holds; communicate with you about your booking; maintain signed agreements and waivers for safety, recordkeeping, and legal purposes; operate, secure, and improve the Site; and comply with legal obligations.
4. How Information Is Stored and Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the business:
- Booqable - our rental-management platform and the primary system where reservation, customer, and document data is stored and processed on our behalf.
- Our payment processor - to process payments and security-deposit authorizations.
- Service providers - such as email and hosting providers acting on our behalf.
- Legal and safety - when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.

5. Cookies
The Site uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed to function properly. If analytics or marketing tools are added later, this Policy will be updated to identify those tools. We rent to riders as young as 14 only through a booking adult who is a parent or legal guardian; any information about a rider age 14-17 is provided to us by that adult, who is responsible for that rider's participation. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, and rely on the security practices of Booqable and our payment processor, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be posted on this page.
